The Medical Review and Ethics Committee BEBO in Assen, the Netherlands, has approved the PIFotal study. With this, the research is approved for execution as long as it complies with provisions of other laws and regulations. These laws and regulations include the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Dutch Medical Treatment Contracts Act (WGBO) and the code of conduct compiled by the Federation of Dutch Medical Scientific Societies (FEDERA).
